Our Story

Our coffee is hand-processed in the country of origin, shipped to us and then freshly-roasted and shipped to your home to ensure you have the best flavor possible. We roast coffee in small batches to your desired intensity to balance your superb cup.  Our artisan roasting is per order and happens on the day of your purchase; we keep our coffee fresh to fulfill your unique taste.

South America and Central America Coffees are grown in an ideal coffee-growing environment with its moderate sunshine and rain, temperatures, rich, porous soil, and different altitudes. Arabica plants are the primary type of bean to be grown in Latin America. Coffee grown in low altitudes, like Brazil, is nutty, sweet, chocolatey, and less acidic. Higher altitude coffees, like Colombia, have medium acidity, are full-bodied, and rich with caramel sweetness. Our Central America coffees are from Costa Rica, Guatemala, and Nicaragua, and South America coffees are from Colombia and Brazil.

Africa Coffees are in high demand due to their richness, unique flavor notes and the skilled farmers who tend to the crop. The high elevations, volcanic soil and temperate climates where African coffee is grown result in bright, acidic and fruit-toned coffees unique to the region and well loved by many coffee drinkers. Our, and the best, Africa coffees are from Tanzania and Ethiopia.

It may all begin with a holiday on a tropical island, Bali, Indonesia. Imagine sunbathing on serene golden beaches, surfing the waves, diving for pearls and swimming along with dolphins, or climbing a volcano and breathing in the scent of herb farms. You do not need to go there to enjoy Bali coffee and tea. We have it right here for you.

Bali Luwak Coffee is produced from coffee beans that have been eaten and digested  by the civet cat, a shy, nocturnal mammal with a taste for coffee beans. Part of what makes luwak coffee so special is that the wild civet picks and chooses the choicest coffee cherries to eat. When compared to normal beans, luwak beans have fewer whole proteins that cause bitterness, which makes the coffee taste heavenly good.
